Sometimes we are unable to enjoy the beauty of an image concerning its explicit content, therefore ignoring aspects such as concept of art and technique because of the discomfort nudity cause us.
Can we really distinguish “artistic nude” of “porn”? For some conservative people “artistic nude” refers only to the body without the explicit exposure of genitals. On the other hand there are open-minded people whom consider “art” the most daring images of explicit sexual content. Can we judge whether an image is art or not just by how much of the body is being shown? Art should provoke our own interpretation. However, we can’t be blinded by the distortion of moral values established by a hypocritical society that pretends celibacy.
This project aims to approach the physical exposure under a artistic language, as well as the reflection on sexuality, self-acceptance, diversity and naturality of the theme, still considered a taboo.
We are all equal, though different.
Algumas vezes somos incapazes de apreciar a beleza de uma imagem por seu conteudo explicito, ignorando aspectos como conceito e tecnica pelo desconforto causado pela nudez.
Podemos mesmo distinguir “nu artistico” de “pornografia”? Para algumas pessoas conersvadoras “nu artistico” se refere apenas ao corpo sem a exposição das genitais. Do outro lado temos pessoas de mente aberta que que consideram como arte ate mesmo imagens ousadas de conteudo sexual explicito. Podemos julgar se determinada imagem é arte ou não apenas pelo quanto do corpo está sendo mostrado? A arte deve provocar nossa interpretação pessoal. Contudo, não podemos nos deixar cegar pela distorção de valores morais estabelecidos por uma sociedade hipocrita que finge celibato.
Este projeto tem como propósito abordar a exposição corporal sob um linguajar artistico, bem como exercitar a reflexão sobre a sexualidade, auto-aceitação, diversidade e a naturalidade do tema que ainda é considerado tabu.
Somos todos iguais, embora diferentes.
